Judging rules

The official evaluation criteria of The Queen's Night competition. An international expert jury and fixed criteria per discipline — so you know exactly how your work will be assessed.

General rules

Two experience levels, ten disciplines.

Only PMU and Microblading offer both Junior and Expert tiers. All other disciplines function as single categories.

Junior 0–3 years of professional experience
Expert More than 3 years of professional experience
Fraudulent declarations of experience level result in immediate disqualification.

Worth knowing in advance

Special category notes

In four disciplines the working conditions or the permitted aids differ from the rest. Read these before you enter.

Areola

Competitors create original designs on provided latex without the use of reference images. Evaluation emphasises realism, colour accuracy and dimensional detail, including granules, folds and shadows.

Scalp micropigmentation

Participants work on latex head models. Judging focuses on frontal hairline recreation, paying close attention to density, implantation patterns and natural-looking transitions.

Fine line tattoo

Original artistic designs are permitted on any chosen body area, preferably non-visible, excluding intimate zones. There are no subject restrictions for the design itself.

Lash lift

Technique selection is unrestricted. Competitors are evaluated solely on the final result, with particular focus on precision, symmetry and overall aesthetic appearance.
